I just came across this amazing article titled 25 Erotica Lit Tropes That Need to Die on Cosmopolitan and thought I had to share this! I read a fair share of erotic romance novels (ok yeah, I read mostly that) and always wonder about a lot of the things on the list. I like good sexy scenes unfortunately it’s a tall order for an author to write one without it being cheesy and laugh worthy.

My favorite one is number 1 and 9! It annoyed the hell out of me whenever I read a scene that include those.

P.S.: I'm currently reviewing Skip to the Good Part: 20 authors reveal their steamiest scenes (Volume 1). It couldn't be a more appropriate timing!

K. Bromberg has found a hidden treasure in her computer for all her fans to enjoy! It’s a deleted scene from Crashed, the third and for me the best book of the Driven Trilogy. The deleted scene was one of my favorite events in Crashed and this one is in Colton’s POV.

I’m restraining myself from reading because I hate having a peek only to wait for the whole book even if it’s just a week away. I scanned lightly through it though. It's dual POV. I'm very happy with that because I really want to get into Gideon's head.

My favorite author Tiffany Reisz has released a free Original Sinners short story titled Jordan on her website. The story takes place during The Saint when Eleanor was 16. It’s about how Eleanor helped her friend Jordan with the help of Søren. I love it! It’s a little gift for us while waiting for the arrival of The King.

“Someone wants to murder me?”

Søren narrowed his eyes at her.

“That was merely a hypothetical example.”

First Birthday on GR

I just realized November marked my first Goodreads birthday!

 

Yes I’m still a baby in this wonderful world of books. I’ve only re-kindled my love for books at the end of 2012 and only started reviewing at the end of 2013. I’ve been stalking Goodreads about 6 months before I actually joined.
